Emirates Facilities Management to Deliver Complete Eco-friendly FM Solutions to Emirates Transport

Dubai-UAE: 5 April, 2014 - Emirates Facilities Management LLC, a leading provider of integrated facilities management (FM) services, will provide eco-friendly FM solutions to Emirates Transport, the UAE government-owned company mandated to provide transportation and associated maintenance services to federal and local government agencies, as well as the private sector. The arrangement will directly support the goals of Emirates Transport to promote sustainable development across every aspect of its operations.
Under the three year contract, Emirates Facilities Management will cater to 31 Emirates Transport buildings that include offices, garages and warehouses spread across the country.
Emirates Transport’s pioneering transport strategy is developed through the Centre for School Transport network that is spread across 19 business centres, seven subsidiaries and over 30 locations within the UAE. The upkeep of these facilities is integral to the success of the core business. Emirates Facilities Management will efficiently manage this wide portfolio of buildings with customised and world-class health safety and environment (HSE) procedures, round-the-clock assistance, and call centre support.

Emirates Transport was recently named ‘Best Supplier’ to the Green Economy Supportive Project during the 5th RTA Safety Award 2013 for converting its gasoline powered vehicles to run on compressed natural gas (CNG), in collaboration with ADNOC.
