Reel Cinemas at ‘The Beach' now open

Dubai, UAE; April 2, 2014: The newest entertainment destination in the city, Reel Cinemas, The Beach, is now open and is envisaged to be the go-to entertainment destination for residents of Jumeirah Beach Residence and New Dubai.

Managed by Emaar Retail LLC, the provider of premium entertainment and leisure, the opulent new venue offers a distinctive cinema experience with a spectacular waterfront location along the shoreline of Dubai Marina.

Reel Cinemas, The Beach is an integral part of the aesthetically designed ‘The Beach’ lifestyle destination by Meraas Holding.

The cineplex features seven standard screens and three Platinum Movie Suites, in addition to the Platinum Lounge, the ultimate in cinema luxury featuring a full-fledged dedicated kitchen to serve the cinegoers and magnificent views of the Arabian Sea.

Reel Cinemas, The Beach can host nearly 900 people and will have five 3D screens. All cinemas have state-of-the-art projection and audio visual systems. At the elegantly designed cineplex, movie-goers make their way up to a chic Hollywood-style uncluttered hallway with a tinted steel finishing and soft wall-to-wall modern cubic carpeting. 

Singapore based RDC Architects Pte Ltd. and Indez Design Consultants integrate the glamour of Hollywood with a contemporary interior design. Attention to the finest details is evident in all aspects of the design including the ergonomic seats with the widest legroom for utmost comfort. Over 70 qualified and trained staff members assure personalised service for movie-goers, particularly guests at the Platinum Movie Suites where gourmet delicacies are served at the seat.

A gourmet popcorn shop, offering large choice of flavours from blueberry to salted caramel is an added attraction.
