du celebrates its retail team and rewards best performers in the retail and franchise network

Dubai, UAE, 1 April 2014: In recognition of their successes so far this year, du celebrated the best performers in its retail network and its franchise partners during an event held at du’s main office in Al Salam Tower, Dubai Media City. During the event, the best performers in Q1 2014, who operate more than 52 du Shops across the UAE, were presented with rewards honouring their commitment to success.
The event was attended by Ibrahim Nassir, Chief Human Capital & Administration Officer, du; Ahmed Mokhles, Executive Vice President – Consumer Business, du, and Ahmed Al Khaja, Vice President –Consumer Direct Channels, du, among other members of the company’s executive management.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nassir said: “Our colleagues in our retail network and our franchise partners are the face of our company, and represent the cornerstone of our image. First impressions last, and we are proud of the great team that we have on board – we rely on your to provide the best customer experience in the UAE, to anyone who visits our Shops. We believe that our people are an integral pillar in the delivery of excellent customer experience, and we will continue to invest in training and rewarding top performers to ensure that the highest standards are achieved. The UAE leadership has a vision for the UAE to be a leading nation, and we would like to contribute to achieving this by being the number one in our field.”
Emiratis constitute as key members of du’s retail management function, ensuring retail distribution reach as per customer requirements and guided by international standards of customer excellence.
In addition to celebrating the successes of its colleagues in retail, du rewarded its franchise partners, who run various du Shops in the UAE. Winners were presented with trophies and cash prizes.
