Samsung and Dubai Confidential Want to See You “Happy”

Dubai, UAE – March 20, 2014 – Samsung Gulf Electronics has teamed up with popular UAE based website Dubai Confidential in the hunt for the Happiest Faces of the UAE. Starting today, the emirate’s snap-happy hopefuls can upload their joyful faces to Samsung Gulf Facebook page for a chance to win Samsung’s smart camera and the opportunity to be seen and swooned over by at least 90,000 of Dubai Confidential’ s regular readers.

The Happiest Faces of the UAE will star in a photo collage on the Samsung Facebook page and the Dubai Confidential website to spotlight the emirate’s diversity and energy—continuing what the Dubai Confidential website started with its enormously successful viral video “Happy in Dubai”. Imitated in cities across the world and racking up 130,000 views in its first week, “Happy in Dubai” recreates hip hop artist’s Pharrell Williams’ official music video “Happy” to showcase 29 residents blissfully dancing across the city that they love.

Samsung and Dubai Confidential will handpick three winners and award them with Samsung smart cameras at the end of the campaign. The chance secure a spot among Dubai’s most content--most ebullient, most happy—will run from March 20th to March 30th.
