Fun City and Fun Ville set the stage for Fancy Dress Fun 2014

March 18th 2014, Dubai, UAE- Fairy Tales of Cinderella - Fairy Tales of Cinderella, Peter Pan and Super Heroes have always fascinated children and transported them to a world of fantasy and fun. Fun City and Fun Ville’s annual event of Fancy Dress Fun is back to give them a stage where they can live out their wish of emulating their favorite characters.

Make your child’s wish come true and feed their imagination by letting them go wild with their wardrobes and dig out the exciting costumes for their fancy dress up for this year’s Fancy Dress Fun at all Fun City and Fun Ville centres in UAE.

This annually held event is extremely popular among the little visitors who look forward to attending it dressed as their favorite characters. Not only does the event promise a lot of fun for the children, but it also augments their development by providing an environment of pretend play to encourage their imaginative and social play; as well as a stage that boosts their self-confidence and public speaking skills.

The event will be held across all Fun City and Fun Ville centres in the UAE on 28th March. Children will be categorized according to their age groups (3-5 years, 6-9 years & 10- 12 years) and an independent external judge will judge the participants and give away prizes to the winners. The judging will be based on the pre-determined measures of performance, attire and confidence. All participants will also receive a participation prize. Fancy Dress Fun has grown immensely in popularity with over 1000 children participating last year alone making it a signature event at all Fun City centres.

Fancy Dress Fun 2014 is scheduled on Friday, March 28, 2014 and the registration is open to children from 3-12 years at fee of AED 50 per child. The event will start at 5.30pm and the fun will last for 3 hours. The registration fee includes the participation for the contest, a kid’s meal and a goodie bag for every child. Pre-Registration is a must and is open till 12 Noon on 28th March 2014.
