With Vichy, each woman can reach her ideal skin

UAE, Dubai, 22nd January 2014 : What is your idea of beautiful skin? This is the question that Vichy asked to 190 women from six different countries around the world, with totally different lifestyles, living environments and no¬tions about what constitutes beauty. Their responses fell into three main categories:
- Healthy skin: this natural view tends to be shared by women with fragile, sensitive skin, often with conditions that require treatment. These women go to their derma-tologist for advice about skin¬care products, which they buy in pharmacies.
- Perfect skin: these women see their skin as a real asset, a gateway to social status. They are driven by the pursuit of mo¬del-perfect skin – they want to look like a star. Their favourite brands are those that embody this notion of perfection and create an aura of prestige.
- Ideal skin: “It’s my skin and it’s unique!” These women aren’t trying to emulate an unattainable myth of beauty. They have their own ideas and aims. They want to make the best of their own skin, for themselves, and they understand the importance of healthy skin rather than some lofty goal of “perfection”. These women have an achievable, realistic vision of what their skin can look like. In their own words: “Perfection doesn’t exist – but ideal is something achievable.”
That is why there are as many types of ideal skin as there are women! Each wo¬man has her own thoughts on how her skin should feel, on its radiance and expressive qualities, and this will vary depending on her skin type and colour, her age, lifestyle and culture.
This personal concept of ideal skin is something which is increasingly striking a chord with women across the region and is supported by the UAE’s leading beauty journalists, with 92% saying that would define ideal skin as ‘the best my skin could possibly be’*.
And whatever each woman’s idea about her ideal skin, Vichy will be here to help her achieve it. Whatever the skin type, whether it is sensitive, too dry or prone to imperfections, whatever each woman’s age or lifestyle, with the right and tailored skincare program, each skin can be transformed. At Vichy, we believe that how skin is treated is more important than skin type.
Vichy’s first asset to achieve this mission is its innovative scientific approach, Skinlife Science, through the knowledge of all skin types, its expertise and know-how in terms of formulation to boost the natural dynamics of the skin, the rigorous protocols and tests that prove products efficacy and a close work with health experts from all around the world - dermatologists, nutritionists, pharmacists…. Its second asset is its star ingredient, Vichy Thermal Spa Water with soothing, regenerating and fortifying properties. With this, Vichy can definitely offer women powerful transforma¬tive skincare products.
But it is not just about effectiveness, 100% of beauty journalists said that products need to be kind to sensitive skin, while 77% agreed that they should also appeal to the senses*. So it is good news for women that each one of Vichy’s products is designed to provide maximum efficacy and pleasure, while still being kind to all skin types, even the most sensitive ones.
With Vichy, EACH woman can reach HER ideal skin.
And to show all women in the GCC that Vichy is here to help them reach their ideal skin and that it is something attainable, Vichy created 4 programs (Hydration, Anti-Imperfection, Anti- Ageing and Whitening) with 2 steps, CLEANSE and CARE.
All Vichy programs are available in leading pharmacies across the GCC, for the following retail prices: Hydration Cleanse & Care Set - 159 AED; Anti-Imperfection Cleanse & Care Set – 195 AED; Anti-Ageing Cleanse & Care Set – 320 AED; and Whitening Cleanse & Care Set – 452 AED.
