Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi to Participated in 19th annual Terry Fox Run Abu Dhabi

Hotel to raised money and awareness for cancer research

Abu Dhabi, February 25 2014 – Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi participated in the 19th annual Terry Fox Run Abu Dhabi held last 21st of February 2014 at the Corniche, Abu Dhabi.

The Terry Fox Run is an annual non-competitive charity event held in numerous regions around the world in commemoration of Canadian cancer  activist Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope, and to raise money for cancer research. Judith Fox-Alder, International Director for the Terry Fox Foundation and Terry's sister stayed at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi and was on hand to lend her support.

Beach Rotana colleagues and senior management joined hundreds of Abu Dhabi residents and organisations to offer support for the Terry Fox Run organised to raise awareness of the fight against cancer.

As part of the hotel’s Corporate Sustainability Platform of ‘Rotana Earth’ more than 160 employees of Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi took to Corniche to run in aid of this worthwhile cause.

Hauri, shares ‘ Beach Rotana continue to fully committed to support and lend a hand to organize an event such as Terry Fox Run as it is an annual charity event held in numerous regions around the world. We are honoured to support this event and to raise money for the cancer research. This international initiative has grown to new heights and is focused on our community, where it’s included in the Global Corporate Sustainability Platform of ‘Rotana Earth’.
