Dubai, UAE, February 2013 – On Friday 21st February, the Lebanese pop singer Yara – the regional face of the Especially Escada fragrance – is set to make a public appearance in the UAE at The Dubai Mall’s Fashion Atrium at 6.50pm. Yara – a powerhouse artist with a slew of number one hits across the Arab world – is Escada’s first ever Regional Brand Ambassador
After being discovered by Lebanese composer Tarek Abou Jaoudeh, Yara quickly rose to fame with her 2005 debut album Twassa Fiyeh, which received critical acclaim in the region. Her 2006 duet with Fadl Shaker – entitled Akhedni Ma’ak – catapulted her to international stardom.
As an ultra-successful woman who radiates inner beauty and elegance, Yara epitomizes the essence of Especially Escada. The much-coveted fragrance boasts a luxurious and feminine scent inspired by the spirit of today’s joyful, spontaneous and glamorous woman. Indeed, Especially Escada is a truly refined and sophisticated perfume that aims to enhance a woman’s soft femininity.
“I am so honored to be the first ever regional face of Especially Escada – a fragrance that captures the beautiful aroma of rose petals,” said Yara. “As an Arab singer and someone who relishes unique scents pulled from nature’s aromatic palette, I am so proud to be associated with Escada – an esteemed and global luxury brand that symbolizes modern elegance, cool glamour and sensual femininity.”
Menno Oosterhoff, P&G Prestige Director for the Middle East, echoed that statement, adding: “We, at P&G Prestige, are delighted to have Yara – a celebrated and talented Arab singer – as Escada’s first ever Regional Brand Ambassador. The Middle East is an important strategic market for fragrances and we wanted the face of Especially Escada to not only have a strong following in this part of the world but also be someone that exudes charm, grace, beauty and sophistication. Yara was the perfect fit!”
