Two for the price of one cinema tickets every Tuesday, exclusively for du mobile customers

Dubai, UAE, 5 February 2014: With du, the weekend comes early! So don't wait, take a friend along to watch your favourite films for free on Tuesday. Brighten up your week with du Tuesdays – the new offer from du that gives du mobile customers two movie tickets for the price of one at VOX Cinemas1 across the UAE! It's not Tuesday, it's du Tuesday!

Starting from today, all du prepaid and post-paid mobile customers2 can enjoy a complimentary second ticket for all films showing at VOX Cinemas in the UAE, 365 days in a year. All they have to do is buy one, to get one free! Tickets cover standard 2D, VIP Seats, VOX MAX, VOX 3D and VOX Plus concepts2. Customers can get their free tickets either by buying tickets through VOX Cinemas' website, www.voxcinemas.com/du, or by showing an SMS coupon code at the cinema box office on a Tuesday.

“du Tuesday makes the middle of the week more exciting than ever before for our mobile customers,” said Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Commercial Officer, du. “We wanted to add life to life in a new, more surprising way and du Tuesday is the perfect way to do this. Our mobile customers can enjoy the movie of their choice with a friend at any VOX Cinemas across the UAE, because with du Tuesdays they get two tickets for the price of one - it's that simple.”

How it works, in three easy steps:

1. Customers can get their ticket by sending an SMS with the word ‘movie' to 9979 from their du number. The text ticket contains a coupon code that they can redeem for two-for-one tickets.
2. Customers will receive the text ticket that contains their two-for-one coupon code, which is valid for any movie showing the upcoming Tuesday (or same day if the ticket is bought on Tuesday).
3. They can book their du Tuesday two-for-one tickets on the same week of the movie from Sunday through Tuesday in one of two ways:
   a. Online: Customers can skip the queues by purchasing their two-for-one tickets online. They can choose any movie and VOX Cinemas location from the top right, then they will be asked to type in the code received and their mobile number before checkout.
   b. In person: Customers need to show the SMS ticket at the VOX Cinemas box office to get their two-for-one tickets if they are going to buy du Tuesday movie tickets in person.

Seats are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Each du customer can request one text-ticket per week. Text-tickets expire at midnight each Tuesday, i.e. they are only valid up until the following Tuesday.
