Introducing the GUESS Spring 2014 Collection and Advertising Campaign
Last Update: Monday, January 20, 2014 : 23:30 (+4GMT)
DUBAI, UAE, January 20, 2014– For Spring 2014, the GUESS advertising campaign captures an array of breathtaking models enjoying all that the California sunshine, soft sand and salt water have to offer. Shot against a picturesque backdrop in Laguna Beach, the crystal clear ocean and beaming sunlight transport the viewer on a beautiful journey to a private, carefree paradise.
Guided by Paul Marciano, Creative Director for Guess? Inc., and shot by longtime GUESS collaborator, Yu Tsai, the campaign captures models, Olivia Greenfield, Danielle Knudson, Samantha Hoopes, Nicoleta Vaculov and Gui Fedrizzi photographed with lush sand, tropical palm trees and the horizon in the distance. Sultry beach swept hair, sun‐kissed skin, tempting swimwear and splashing fresh sea water are the perfect ingredients for a sexy spring campaign.
The campaign highlights the season's key trends as the temperature heats up. For the GUESS Girl, denim styles are seen throughout the collection in the form of shortalls, cut‐off shorts, bustiers, jackets and jeans in several washes and treatments. The softer side of the collection features feminine pieces in eyelet and lace fabrics, floral applique with romantic crochet and feather detailing. Pops of signature GUESS prints in polka dots and gingham are seen on bustiers, dresses and button down shirts. For men, denim is at the forefront of the collection, offered in classic button‐down shirts, vests and jeans in a palette of light to dark washes.
Bleached and distressed styles add the right amount of ruggedness for the GUESS guy. Touches of neutrals in khaki and olive green styles are injected into the men's line to balance the denim heavy collection.
Look for this GUESS Jeans collection beginning February 2014 at all GCC stores.
