According to a recent industry report from Gartner, a leading business research and intelligence firm, global spending on cloud services is expected to grow by 17.7 per cent through 2016. However, the Middle East and North African (MENA) region is expecting even higher growth, which is expected to reach around 20.2 per cent. This forecast complements an IDC report that positions the Middle East region as one of the fastest growing IT markets in the world—predicting a USD32 billion spend next year, which will include investments in IT infrastructure, cloud computing and big data capabilities.
