The artist behind the HotShots Dubai camera is Charlotte Simpson, a third-generation professional photographer. Her grandfather, Edgar Simpson, established a successful portrait studio in New Zealand in 1925, which thrived until 1936 when Edgar moved to London.  There, he quickly established himself as one of the UK's leading photography experts.  Charlotte's father, Anthony Simpson, eventually took over the studios and continued to run these successfully until he retired in 1990.
