Orange Pharmacy opens new outlet in Tabarbour

New branch part of aggressive expansion plan that will see two more branches before yearend
Orange Pharmacy, a chain affiliated with Abu Sheikha Holding Group, has recently opened its 11th branch, located in Tabarbour, Amman, as part of an aggressive expansion plan that will see two more outlets operational before the end of 2013.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Orange Pharmacy Director Ziad Abu Sheikha, in the presence of members of the Group's board of directors, citizens and representatives of drug stores and pharmaceutical companies.
The opening is part of an ongoing expansion plan adopted by Orange Pharmacy to ensure the largest possible segment of citizens and patients access to value-added services which include responding to medical inquiries and providing pharmaceutical information and advice to all community members, apart from dispensing prescriptions and preparing cosmetics.
Commenting on the new addition to the chain, Abu Sheikha said: “We are delighted and grateful to have been able to open this new outlet in this bustling neighborhood, where we are ready to meet the needs of our customers. The new branch is a translation of our vision and ambition to increase our competitiveness and take pharmaceutical services to a new a level in the Kingdom”.
He added: “Through Orange Pharmacy branches, citizens will see a positive change in the concept of ‘pharmacy', as Orange Pharmacy outlets are not mere points of sale, but rather integrated services centers that are handled by a specialized team and meet the various needs of customers”.
Abu Sheikha stressed that the chain will continue expanding to cover the Kingdom's towns and provinces, indicating that the two planned branches will be soon serving Abu Nseir north Amman and Sweifieh areas before yearend.
Debuting in 2007, Orange Pharmacy's network has grown with the Tabarbour branch to 11 outlets, distributed in line with a well-studied plan in various neighborhoods in the capital and one in Zarqa Governorate.
