Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 27th  October, 2013 – Regus has strengthened its network of flexible workspaces in Abu Dhabi, adding a business centre at Sowwah Square on Al Maryah Island. Regus, the world's largest provider of flexible workplaces, now operates 5 locations in Abu Dhabi and 12 in the UAE, in Dubai and Sharjah as well as Abu Dhabi.

The growth of the Regus network offers more opportunities for companies in the UAE to adopt flexible and remote working patterns, or to get closer to customers and key contacts. Flexible and remote working practices are gaining popularity in the Middle East. In the latest Regus Global Business Survey of over 26,000 senior business people, just under half (44%) respondents in the Middle East said they now work remotely for at least half the week.

Moreover, 75% of respondents in the Middle East said effective management of remote workers is perfectly achievable, with training. This percentage is significantly higher than the global average (51%) - perhaps because many executives in the Gulf are already successfully managing mobile workers and staff in separate branch offices in different Gulf locations.
