All Eyes on Dubai World Hospitality Championship as The Hotel Show Concludes

Organisers Discuss DWHC Strategies on Day-3
Dubai-UAE: 09 October, 2013 – The Hotel Show, the largest hotel and hospitality supply exhibition in the MENA region, concluded with a panel discussion on logistical issues, strategic objectives and anticipated outcomes of the upcoming Dubai World Hospitality Championship (DWHC), the UAE's much-anticipated culinary showcase.
Moderated by Majed Al Marri, Committee of Public Relations, DWHC, panelists examined the objectives of the inaugural DWHC and reviewed the championship's stages from inception to execution. Organisers of the culinary contest leveraged the opportunity to ideate with some of the greatest names in the hospitality industry.
Details of the participating international teams, as well as DWHC's coordination and registration process were presented to the panelists. In addition, strategies to maximise local and international participation were examined at length. More importantly, the panelists explored ways to encourage the growth of entrepreneurship among Emirati women through the DWHC platform.
Dubai World Hospitality Championship additionally highlighted the Emirati Championship, an integral component of the event that has been expressly designed to showcase Emirati culinary traditions.

The gastronomic extravaganza is certain to hugely impact the hospitality sector in the UAE, especially in Dubai, and provide hotels and restaurants in the emirate an unprecedented boost.”
Under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and organised by the Zaabeel Palace Hospitality, the Dubai World Hospitality Championship 2013 seeks to spotlight Dubai as one of the finest multicultural culinary destinations of the world.
Scheduled to take place from 16-18 November 2013 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event will display and retail homemade dishes and Emirati home-crafted products. In addition, the championship will feature a Hospitality Sector Competition with 700 chefs vying for top honours, as well as an International Competition that witnesses 12 globally renowned culinary masters demonstrating their creativity and professionalism.
