Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – 19th September, 2013: Creamfields Abu Dhabi is set to rewrite the script for UAE dance music events with FLASH Entertainment announcing that the world's most talented and forward thinking electronic artists will perform at the 5th instalment on Friday, 13th December, at the du Arena on Yas Island.
As one of, if not the most influential dance act on the planet, The Prodigy will be headlining the 2013 instalment of Creamfields Abu Dhabi, bringing their unique high energy sound for dance music fans of every age. With a career spanning 20 years, The Prodigy have taken the rave genre and reshaped it into techno and electronic rock with huge chart success. Delivering hits such as ‘Firestarter' and ‘Breathe' the group have cemented their position as one of the bestselling dance acts with a reputation for explosive live performances. Across the world hundreds of thousands of music fanatics have witnessed the group live with UAE fans set to get their chance to experience a rare performance of huge Prodigy hits in Abu Dhabi.
Joining the group at the top of the bill will be one of the most famous and successful producers of the last six years, Calvin Harris. Through his own tracks and collaborations, Harris has stormed to chart success combining with the likes of Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and Dizzee Rascal along the way. His midas touch for creative and catchy hooks has seen commercial success matched with critical acclaim and multiple awards including a prestigious Ivor Novello for songwriting as well as a Grammy for the global hit ‘We Found Love' with Rihanna. Boasting a back catalogue of colossal hits Calvin Harris is one of the most in demand live performers in the world today with Creamfields Abu Dhabi set to welcome him to the stage for a memorable night.
On top of the headline acts, the one day festival is set to deliver the biggest beats and fattest bass lines with an unrivalled line-up of classic, new and futuristic dance music for UAE fans over 18 years. Tickets start from AED 275 for General Admission, which will allow close-up access to the stage. For an exclusive dance experience the VIP standing option for AED 595 (21+) will allow fans to party on an elevated platform with a dedicated beverage area. Now entering its landmark 5th year, Creamfields Abu Dhabi continues to push back the boundaries of the weird and wonderful, with a full showcase of exciting festival activations on top of the stellar line-up. Giant laser robots, costumed stilt walkers, fire dancers, LED performers, laser and light shows, fun rides, photo booths and fancy costumes through to ‘chill out' lounges, oxygen bars, ice creams and a variety of food and drink options are set to greet festival revellers at the du Arena, on Friday, 13th December.
