Virgin Megastore Family Festival at Mercato this Week*

Dubai – 18 September 2013: Virgin Megastore, the region's ultimate one stop entertainment shop, presents a new community Family Festival at Mercato Mall that started on Tuesday, September 17th and will run until Friday, September 20th with fun, free activities the whole family can enjoy.

The Family Festival kicked off on Tuesday from 4-6pm with a Kids' Workshop taking place at Virgin Megastore at Mercato Mall, Level 1. Children ages 6-12 were invited to come in for homework help, beginners' dance lessons and to learn the basics of DJ mixing.

Wednesday from 11am-1pm, is dedicated to mothers and women for a ‘Mommy Morning', a girly morning of fashion, food and music at the main stage of Mercato Mall, level G. Visitors will get to experience live food demonstrations, mini fashion shows, live music performances, free manicures and the chance to win prizes.

Thursday from 6-8pm will be for the pop culture enthusiasts, with a Pop Trivia Night at the main stage. Guests will be able to test their knowledge in all things music, movies and books for a chance to win gift vouchers and cool prizes.

Friday from 10am-12pm will see the conclusion of the Family Festival with a fun-packed Story Time morning for the little ones on the main stage. The activities will include a book reading of The Gruffalo by Sheena Kay from Radio 1, a magic show, balloons, coloring, snacks and beverages, and lots of prize giveaways.
