Pro Art Gallery to Present a Solo Exhibition of 'Leily Derakhshani'

Dubai, UAE, September 17th, 2013: Pro Art Gallery, the gallery that celebrates innovative art and collectibles is presenting the outstanding work of 'Leily Derakhshani‘ in a solo exhibition.   The exhibition will open on Wednesday 18th September 2013 at 7pm and will run till 30th September 2013 at the Pro- Art Gallery located in the Palm Strip Mall on Jumeirah Beach Road. This dynamic and exciting exhibition will focus its attention on the amazing style of the talented artist Leili Derakhshani.

A well know painter from Iran, Leily's exhibition features her paintings which depict facts related to her experiences over the years.  “The present collection has been painted in several phases with dense oil color and Isoroph (a type of tar) on the canvas” says Leily Derakhshani .

By resorting to stylized figurative paintings, Leily has found a simple expression, free from obscurity and complexity. In this phase she has shown her past in an artistic form and expressive language. These paintings display the changes and the transformations that appeared in Leily's life in the past few years. Such changes are clearly visible and are a sign of her knowledge of figurative language as well as expresses her deconstructive view.

Biography:
Leily Derakhshani: Leily Derakhshani (1961), was born in an artist family and graduated from School of Dramatic Arts in sculpting. Alongside with illustration, she started to train music too and after many years training she joined the Chrus Group ,Germany.
