Duvent Presents ‘Access All Areas' Tour Premiere Featuring SRK Live in Concert in Dubai

• World Tour Kick-off Concert to Bring Audiences Up Close and Personal with King Khan of Bollywood
• Star-studded Show to Feature Deepika Padukone and other Top Bollywood Stars

Dubai-UAE: 16 September, 2013 – In what promises to be a date to remember for fans in the region, Bollywood's top-billed actor Shah Rukh Khan is set to premiere his world tour, Access All Areas, in Dubai on 01 December, 2013. The organizers of the star-studded Dubai extravaganza, Duvent, a part of Meraas Leisure and Entertainment, have revealed that the high profile entourage on this tour will include actors Deepika Padukone and other all-time popular celebrities from the Indian cinema landscape.

The event marks Shah Rukh Khan's first live performance in Dubai since 2008 and will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium that boasts a capacity of over 25,000 people.

Making the announcement at a press conference held at Atlantis – The Palm, Shah Rukh, who was joined by his Chennai Express co-star Deepika Padukone, and Omar Saab, Director-Commercial at Duvent, said the show will follow a unique format where the performers interact with audiences in close proximity.

‘Access All Areas' will seek to recreate unforgettable moments from Shah Rukh Khan's box office hits, including the latest release Chennai Express that grossed record collections of more than AED230 million from the sale of tickets and is billed as Bollywood's biggest blockbuster of all times. 

In the run up to ‘Access All Areas' concert, Duvent has conceptualised a contest that will offer fans the opportunity to get on-stage with their favourite performers. The contest will be launched through multiple media vehicles closer to the date of the event. Lucky winners will be rewarded with an ‘Access All Areas' badge that will grant backstage access and the rare privilege of meeting the performers before and after the show.

Reiterating the show's fan-based format, Saab said: “The Access All Areas concert is set to transform the experience of live entertainment shows for local audiences. Speaking on the concert, Khan said: “A lot of effort has gone into planning this project, and I am really excited to see it come to fruition now. I am also grateful to all the wonderful people from the Indian film industry that will join me on this incredible journey. I cannot wait to share the stage with them.”

Looking to transform the family entertainment canvas in Dubai, Duvent aims to identify and attract the best and most unique talent from across the world and bring them to local audiences. Duvent has put together big-ticket music concerts including the closing concert ceremony at the Dubai World Cup 2013 featuring the live performance of British Grammy award-winning soul and R&B singer-songwriter, Seal, as well as the sell-out concert of US rapper, songwriter and record producer, Pitbull, held in June last year.

Duvent is set to wrap up 2013 with the Michael Jackson – THE IMMORTAL World Tour by Cirque du Soleil, which will be a main event at the Dubai Shopping Festival.
