Sharjah Holding and Majid Al Futtaim Properties Celebrate Successful First Year of Matajer Malls in Sharjah

Dubai, UAE – 19 August 2013 – Matajer Malls, a leading neighbourhood retail centre concept, announces one year anniversary of the Al Juraina, Al Khan and Al Mirgab locations. A joint project between Sharjah Government and Majid Al Futtaim Properties, the community-focused mall developer has introduced the concept of premium community retail to the Emirate and has experienced exponential sales performance and positive footfall traffic since opening. With four locations open in residential and academic areas, residents in Sharjah have easy access to high quality retail outlets meeting their everyday shopping needs such as groceries, banking, laundry, pharmacy and electronics.

Global brands including McDonald's, Tim Horton's, Baskin Robbins, Caribou Coffee, Shakespeare and Early Learning Centres are included in the retail mix that is specifically designed for families in Sharjah.
