DUBAI, UAE - July 28, 2013 – The award winning Hilton Dubai Creek restaurant, table 9 by nick and scott, will welcome in 2014 with a new team, following the announcement that Nick Alvis and Scott Price are preparing to move on to new endeavors and opening the door for Hilton Worldwide to present a new and aspiring table 9 culinary and management team.

Unique to Dubai, table 9 by nick and scott, started in 2011 at the invitation of Hilton Dubai Creek, as a completely home grown Dubai dining concept. Taking a unique step away from formal fine dining, Hilton Worldwide offered chefs, Alvis and Price, a high profile platform to create their own bespoke dining experience, which has produced acclaim from customers and critics alike throughout the past two years.

Ready to explore the culinary landscape further afield, Alvis, commented on their move, “Following four great years with Hilton Dubai Creek, we have made the difficult decision to move on and pursue new opportunities.”

Price continued, “It was a dream of ours to create and open our own restaurant concept and we will always appreciate the support and opportunity we have been given, and are very proud of what the team has created and achieved at table 9 by nick and scott. We feel the time is right to take on a new challenge and we are excited about the future. That said, we are not moving on quite yet. We will be operating as usual until December 31, 2013.”

In 2014, Alvis and Price will be working with the Albwardy Investment Group as a part of their design and development team, where they will develop and launch a number of new food and beverage concepts at their outlets in the UAE.
