The program will kick off with an exceptional cultural evening titled Al-Mutanabbi: Between the Genius of the Word and the Creativity of the Brush, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center. The event will feature an art exhibition by Iraqi artist Dr. Mahmoud Shubbar, with 26 paintings inspired by the book The Marvels Revealed in Al-Mutanabbi’s Inventions and Wonders by Dr. Ali bin Tamim. The exhibition will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Suleiman Al-Hattlan, blending literary text with visual imagination, offering a new perspective on Al-Mutanabbi through the fusion of intellect and art.
The library will also host a literary session with writer Taleb Al-Refai to discuss his latest novel Dokhi: Melodies of Youth. The novel delves into the life of Kuwaiti singer Awadh Al-Dokhi, and takes readers on a journey into memory and storytelling in a rich Kuwaiti literary evening, moderated by Mr. Abdul Hamid Ahmed.
In celebration of World Mental Health Day, the library will organise a lecture and panel discussion titled Balanced Work Environments… Productive Minds, presented by Dr. Ahmed Al Nuaimi. The session will highlight the importance of integrating mental health into the workplace, its impact on performance and creativity, and will provide practical tools to create healthy and supportive workspaces.
