Cartier Launches En Équilibre High Jewellery Collection In Stockholm
Last Update: Thursday, May 29, 2025 : 15:11 (+4GMT)
The Maison's latest High Jewellery collection, En Équilibre, made its debut in Stockholm with a precious gala evening at the Artipelag art gallery, on the glistening waters of the archipelago.
From the purity of the line to the strength of volumes, the balance of colours, and the space between full and empty: everything is in harmony in this new collection of unique pieces. It's all about precision, nothing in excess. From simplicity to extravagance, through subtle shades and bold chromatic harmonies, balancing symmetry and asymmetry: harmony is also born from the exploration and reconciliation of opposing forces.
This equilibrium is what lead to the choice of Stockholm, a city of creativity and design that embodies the exquisite balance between urban life and nature, innovation and tradition. Here, everything is underpinned by a sense of minimalism or lagom: neither too much nor too little.
The celebration in Stockholm began with an exhibition of the collection in the historic Nacka Strandmässen building, a setting that brings together clean-lined industrial design and the beauty of nature through an open sky, where guests could also witness the Maison’s expert artisans demonstrate the savoir-faire behind the Panthère Dentelée necklace. The evening continued at Artipelag, a harmonious art museum between architecture and nature, where
guests arrived by boat, joined by ambassadors, Deepika Padukone and Anna Sawai along with friends of the Maison Zoe Saldaña and Alexander Skarsgård. The High Jewellery creations were showcased in a tableaux vivants, where models dressed in Giambattista Valli’s Prêt-à-Porter designs lead the way to the gala dinner. The evening continued with a performance devised by the Canadian leading rock band The Beaches, and a DJ set by Dorion Fiszel.
