Over 50 teams will compete in the action-packed, thrilling, 200-meter races which will take place in front of the Waterfront Market promenade throughout the 2-day race weekend where spectators can cheer on their favourite teams and enjoy the majestic views that the Market’s promenade has to offer. Races will be scheduled throughout the day with racing starting from 9am through to 5pm on both days. The teams will be divided into five race categories: Open, Mixed, Women, Corporate & Community.
Mohammed Al Madani, the Waterfront Market Manager said: "We are proud that the Waterfront Market Dragon Boat Race has become a highly anticipated event on Dubai’s calendar and are happy to welcome back the first race for this year.
