RAK Hospital Signs a Clinical Collaboration Agreement with Apollo Hospitals Group India

UAE patients to get direct access to Apollo’s expert medical team without travelling outside UAE
February 2, 2023 - Dubai, UAE: RAK Hospital, UAE’s premier hospital enters into a clinical collaboration agreement with Apollo Hospitals Group, the largest healthcare provider in Afro-Asia. The partnership will cover training, telemedicine services, academics, and laboratory referral services with the aim to cooperatively advance the field of health utilising the latest medical technology.
The post-pandemic period necessitates healthcare providers to collaborate across geographic borders, and such relationships are crucial in light of the escalating disease burden and changing non-communicable disease scenario.
Dr. K. Hariprasad, Group President of Apollo Hospitals, and Dr. Raza Siddiqui, Executive Director of RAK Hospital, made the announcement.
Dr. Raza Siddiqui remarked that international partnerships are vital for expanding clinical capacity, and RAK Hospital is delighted to have Apollo Hospitals as its clinical partner. The association will be immensely beneficial for patients who will now get access to the excellent medical team of Apollo without having to travel outside UAE.
Dr. Hariprasad noted, in reference to the clinical relationship, that he is glad to have this collaboration, and that the scope of this collaboration would allow the Apollo super specialty team to provide care at RAK Hospital.
The visiting delegation from Apollo Hospitals India had Mr. Jithu Jose, Vice President – International Division, and Ms. Nikhina Mariam, relationship manager for the UAE. The colorful ceremony was attended by the doctors and clinical team of RAK Hospital.
