Crafting an Icon: the New Moments Studded Chain

Pandora enters the new year through a new chapter of craftsmanship and style, with the launch of the Moments Studded Chain. Uniquely crafted by Pandora as a brand icon, the Moments Studded Chain carves a new avenue for limitless styling and storytelling; developed more than two decades following the iconic Pandora Snake Chain, which made the Danish band world renowned.

A PINNACLE OF CRAFTSMANSHIP
Combining craftsmanship and innovation in design exclusive to Pandora, the Moments Studded Chain offers a completely different texture and canvas for styling your stories. Designed with pyramid-shaped and spherical studs to capture and reflect light, the Moments Studded Chain creates a textural experience in sterling silver. Creative directors A. Filippo Ficarelli and Francesco Terzo explain: “We developed a pattern consisting of different geometric shapes, requiring new tools and techniques to create what is now a chain with a unique look”.

Each Studded Chain is crafted from an outer and a core chain. The outer chain is produced by stamping small silver plates together, forming the pyramid and spherical shapes of the pattern. Then, the 4 individual sections are folded together and stacked on top of the previous layer in a process that is unique to Pandora.

Equally striking is the chain’s new clasp design – a hand-finished sterling silver heart with a spring-back closure that allows for effortless use. The new light texture of the chain makes it ideal for everyday wear and is available as both a bracelet and necklace. Whether worn alone as a statement piece or as a tool for storytelling loaded with charms, the new Moments Studded Chain is the ultimate eye-catcher for the New Year.
