Unifying Cultures Across Borders on Spotlight at Abu Dhabi Art

Abu Dhabi, UAE - 3 November 2022: UAE social enterprise 81 Designs and Moroccan artist Bouchra Boudoua will present a collaborative project as Abu Dhabi Art returns to Manarat Al Saadiyat on 16 to 20 November 2022. The fair marks the culmination of a seven-month collaboration that conceived a fusion craft revolutionizing traditional pottery and Tatreez embroidery. Available at CP 8 – Auditorium, the ‘Autumn Harvest’ collection is an exquisite set of embroidered ceramics made with raw elements and sustainable materials. Aimed to preserve Arab heritage through art and unifying cultures across borders, every piece in this bespoke collection is worked on by Bouchra Boudoua, local potters in Morocco, and Palestinian refugee women artisans in Lebanon.
