Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 20 October, 2022: Crate and Barrel, owned and operated by Majid Al Futtaim in the UAE, is bringing the joy home this season with fresh and festive décor, thoughtful gifts, and moments of merriment with loved ones. From styling masterclasses and kids workshops to festive fundraising initiatives, Crate and Barrel has everything to make the holidays joyful for all.
This November, visitors to Mall of the Emirates can step into a life-size snow globe and create memorable moments with the help of a professional photographer. Crate and Barrel’s festive pop-up sets the scene for the holidays with traditional nutcrackers, 9-foot trees and a beautifully decorated mantelpiece. Participants will receive a discount voucher which, when used, will enter each customer into a draw to win a prize worth AED 10,000.
For even more picture-perfect moments, Santa is visiting the Crate and Barrel stores in Mall of the Emirates on 9 December and City Centre Mirdif on 10 December. Kids can get into the spirit of the season by decorating gingerbread cookies, whilst hosts with the most can learn tips and tricks for trimming the tree and creating the perfect tablescape from Janet Manning Waite. More information and pre-registration will open on Instagram at @crateandbarrelme.
Ornaments for a Cause
For the fourth year running, Crate and Barrel has collaborated with regional artists to create hand-crafted ornaments with a difference. This year’s ‘Ornaments for a Cause’ have been designed by Loompop, Abdullah Lutfi and, for the first time, Nio Artt – featuring local motifs and limited-edition flag designs. Available from 3 November, partial profits will be donated to charity. Crate and Barrel has also launched its first ever range of greeting cards to spread festive cheer even further across the UAE.
Fresh and Festive Décor
Twinkling lights, glorious garlands and candle centrepieces from Crate and Barrel will set hearts and homes aglow. There are baubles for on the tree and gifts for under the tree, plus cozy layers for those who want to curl up on the couch all season long.
Yuletide Entertaining
Whether roasting a turkey or baking sugar cookies, Crate and Barrel has all the kitchen essentials and tools for a delicious holiday feast. Star-shaped casserole dishes and pine-printed platters will create an elegant tablescape, with more fun gifting options such as flatware stockings available for foodies.
Woody Wonderland
At the center of the festivities is the Christmas tree, which customers can find in different shapes and sizes to fit every space. Woodland creatures, modern mango wood accessories and chic wreathes finish the wintery aesthetic.
With something different to fulfill everyone’s wish list this year, the Holiday collection is available at all Crate and Barrel stores across the UAE and online at crateandbarrel.me.
