Joyalukkas, the world's favorite jeweler recently conducted their 127th blood donation campaign at the Blood Donation Center, Latifa Hospital Dubai. Speaking on the sidelines of the blood donation drive, Mr John Paul Alukkas, Managing Director - International Operations said that Joyalukkas has been regularly organizing blood donation camps, in various countries, under the theme ‘Give Blood. Save a Life’. “I am happy to state that this CSR activity of ours is a major success and well appreciated. The Joyalukkas Blood Donation Forum was set up in the year 2005. ‘Donate blood.
Be a Hero.’ is the guiding principle behind which the forum functions. Over the past 17 years we have conducted 127 blood donation drives across the GCC. This is a reiteration of our commitment to the society. It is heartening to note that for the past so many years our team has been able to organize the blood donation drive in a very consistent manner. All our blood donation campaigns are voluntary in nature where our staff members as well as the general public come together to donate blood. It is also to be noted that due to the high need for platelets, our team members regularly donate platelets, which help to meet the requirements, to an extent. The campaigns are executed in coordination with the concerned government authorities,” he added.
