HBMSU's Lifelong Learning Centre holds meeting with its training committee members

The meeting aimed to share visions on developing the training programs in line with HBMSU’s strategic goals
Dubai, UAE - June 6, 2022- Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University’s (HBMSU) Lifelong Learning Center hosted the annual meeting for the members of its training committee. The meeting was attended by H.E. Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of HBMSU, Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Leadership Affairs in Dubai Police, and Dr. Fahad Al Saadi, Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, HBMSU.
The meeting was aimed at promoting communication among the committee members and sharing visions to enhance the training programs and broaden the scope of their reach to participate in the development of individuals, institutions, and society. During the meeting, discussions were held over the prospects of smart, and technology-enhanced training in line with the goals of the university’s strategic plan 2021–2023, which aims to increase the availability of training through smart learning opportunities in the Arab countries.
H.E. Dr. Mansoor Al Awar said, “HBMSU has adopted a clear strategic vision of leading innovation in smart learning to reshape the future of education, enhance the students’ intellectual and cognitive horizons, and support building specialized skills. This will be achieved through team collaboration that ensures the continuity of excellence and upholding proactive measures in the higher education journey. This will also strengthen the presence of the university regionally and globally as a leading academic institution providing exceptional lifelong learning opportunities.”
Al Awar further stated that Lifelong Learning Center provides the best vocational training programs in line with the highest international educational standards, ensuring improved learning levels of trainers and mastering of basic and future skills, in addition to achieving maximum use of the trainers and experts’ wide scope of innovative and diverse expertise and knowledge.
The meeting was concluded by Al Awar offering gratitude to the training committee members, participants, and the management team. He acknowledged the value of the discussions and ideas that were presented and the commitment and efforts of the members in promoting the university as a leader in higher education sector.
The Lifelong Learning Centre in HBMSU is designed to offer various learning methods and opportunities to acquire educational expertise by programs and non-academic workshops. HBMSU emphasizes the significance of lifelong learning through vocational programs in various sectors such as business and quality management, banking, healthcare, environment, smart learning, and e-learning.
