Times Square Centre and TishTash Communications join forces to empower and educate female and family healthcare choices at public event
Times Square Center Dubai and TishTash Communications have created a full day of inspiring, educational and empowering activities focusing on female and family healthcare to celebrate International Women’s Day in a truly meaningful way.
Taking place on Saturday, March 19th 2022 at Times Square Center, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, between 10 am and 10 pm, #HealthLove is designed with the whole family in mind, and will feature a range of learning opportunities, fun activations, health screenings, education and more across the Center and including participating outlets, all focused on the importance of the ‘well woman’.
Women’s health is increasingly recognised as a global health priority. Whether young, mid-life or older, able-bodied, working , a parent or not - with women at the heart of the family unit and increasingly within the workplace and the community, it is vital that an empowered woman faces life armed with the knowledge of how to look after her health as a priority, and recognise the signs and symptoms of potential problems, without any stigma or ignorance, cultural or otherwise.
From physical health to mental health, nutrition, fitness, wellbeing, pregnancy, fertility and family medicine, #HealthLove is deliberately held on a weekend to encourage attendance from as many women as possible, with all activations, screenings and activities free of charge.
Nancy Ozbek, General Manager, Times Square Center said of the event, “As a busy working woman, in charge of a large retail and leisure center, I know that a healthy woman means a healthy family, a healthy society, workplace and world. Education and empowerment of healthcare for women is an important message. Times Square Center is excited to host #HealthLove as a day of education and activities to welcome everyone to attend and take away the message that the best form of self-love is taking care of yourself, and that starts with health, in all its forms. Our array of vendors and outlets are proud to be included in this important event and we look forward to showcasing the benefits of staying healthy as a woman, and as a family across the Center on the day”
A full itinerary of events on the day will include main stage speakers and panels on a variety of subjects around health and wellbeing as well as opportunities to meet healthcare providers for insight and advice alongside fitness and nutrition as well as fun participation events for all ages. Children will be able to ‘Follow your Heart’ throughout Times Square on a special treasure hunt across Center outlets and win prizes.
Natasha Hatherall-Shawe, CEO & Founder, TishTash Communications says; “TishTash has always been a vocal supporter of the issues facing women that are often not widely discussed. True empowerment comes from knowing your own body, knowing when to seek help or improvement, and where from. Education and accessibility are the key drivers for a healthy society, and when women know how to look after themselves in the right way, they are better advocates for their own families and other women. Stronger, healthier women mean stronger and healthier communities. We want to bring as many people as possible together on March 19th at Times Square to share the #HealthLove message and share the messages in a meaningful way, whilst having fun along the way, of course!”
