Union Coop Receives Top Officials from Reckitt Benckiser

Reckitt Benckiser, trading as ‘Reckitt’, is a British multinational consumer goods company headquartered in Slough, England.

Dubai, UAE:   The largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE – Union Coop received a delegation from Reckitt Benckiser, a very prevalent international brand as part of the cooperative’s endeavors to strengthen partnerships with leading companies in the field of retail trade and to familiarize them with the advanced work mechanisms that they currently follow per the international standards and their plans to expand and spread in the future.

Mr. LAXMAN NARASIMHAN – the CEO, Mr. Tahir Malik - SVP Africa Middle East, Mr. Tauseef Faisal - Regional Director Middle East, Mr. Mohamad Kambris - Sales Director UAE, Mr. Jonathan Wright - Head of Modern Trade UAE and Ms. Thiru - Business Manager, represented the visiting delegation from Reckitt. 
H.E. Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop, Mr. Majiruddin Khan, Trading Division Director and Mrs. Sana Gul – Trade Development Sec. Mgr from Union Coop, received them at Al Warqa City Mall in the presence of employees from both sides.

Union Coop’s CEO gave a comprehensive description to the visiting delegation about the most important services that the cooperative provides to shoppers, in which it follows the best practices applied in the field of food retailing, delivery, customer happiness services, expansion strategies and digital solutions for retail to be the best consumer cooperative in the field of retail trade, in addition to updating them of information about the culture of retail trade in the Union Coop and the digital solutions it follows to provide goods to consumers, they also discussed ways to enhance trade cooperation between the two parties for the near future.

In turn, Mr. Majiruddin Khan, Trading Division Director and Mrs. Sana Gul – Trade Development Sec. Mgr. from Union Coop organized a tour for the visiting delegation inside Union Coop hypermarket in Al Warqa City Mall. During which they presented the mechanisms of arranging goods and their classifications, selling and offering promotions to delight consumers in cooperation with its strategic partners, in addition to giving the delegation a glimpse of the shops and brands that are present in the cooperative centers and branches to display and sell their products.

In turn, the CEO of Reckitt Mr. LAXMAN NARASIMHAN thanked Union Coop and its distinguished team for the warm welcome and hospitality, praising Union Coop’s practices in the field of retail trade and consumer protection, and the successful experience in project management, dealing with suppliers and managing consumer cooperative in some emirates. in addition to its extensive experience in attracting brand owners to be within its commercial centers, pointing out that the cooperative has become a unique model in the retail and investment sector due to the procedure it follows, which is at par with the international designs and standards, work and delivery mechanisms, modern technologies deployed in trade, promotions, and products displayed in the showroom.
