COMING SOON: Umm Al Quwain Coop managed by Union Coop

Dubai, UAE: Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE, has confirmed the near opening of Umm Al Quwain Coop hypermarket, which is located within the residential commercial center project and will be the first branch of Umm Al Quwain Coop managed by Union Coop, in a manner that serves community members in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, and contributes to providing a unique shopping experience for all societal groups of residents and visitors.

The announcement came during the handover ceremony wherein Union Coop’s Admin Affair department transferred the responsibility of hypermarket functions and equipment of the project to the concerned department. The project that is located in the Al Salamah area in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain will mark its opening during the month of March. 

Mr. MOHAMMED BERREGAD ALFALASI, Admin Affairs Director, Union Coop said that the hypermarket is located within a residential commercial center project affiliated to Umm Al Quwain Cooperative and managed by Union Coop, where the Department of Administrative Affairs handed over all the necessary equipment to the concerned departments, which included refrigeration devices and equipment (coolers and freezers), display shelves, exits and entrances, the Consumer Happiness counter, and fruits and vegetables section, weighing scales, office furniture, and equipment of (fishery, bakery, and meat sections). In addition to Point of Sale equipment, display screens and other things to ensure that the hypermarket is ready for the upcoming opening.

He stressed that the cooperative, through its management of Umm Al Quwain cooperative, is committed to providing a unique shopping experience for all societal groups of residents and visitors of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, while ensuring the provision of the best products with high specifications and the best quality at competitive prices.

It should be noted that the residential commercial center project, which is located in the Al Salamah area in Umm Al Quwain, consists of two basement and ground floors with car parking, in addition to two residential floors, a gym and a rooftop swimming pool, a hypermarket and 30 shops on the ground floor.
