Dubai: FREE ‘High-Speed' Internet to Shoppers and Visitors

Union Coop provides free Internet service to shoppers and visitors in 15 branches and Commercial Centers in Dubai
Dubai, UAE: Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE, announced that it has officially provided, in 15 of its branches, commercial centers and outlets in Dubai, the Free Internet "Wi-Fi" service to all its clientele, including shoppers, customers and visitors, as part of its smart initiatives to delight its customers.
In detail, Mr. Aiman Othman, IT Director, Union Coop said: Union Coop is keen to provide smart services to all its customers in line with the developments taking place at the domestic and international levels, as it has added a new service to its group of smart services that is free Internet. Initially, the service was released in selective branches and commercial centers and in the Mirdif Parkway investment project as well, upon completion.
He added that the free Wi-Fi service is now available in most of the primary Union Coop’s Commercial centers and branches, as this service will provide a smooth, reliable and secure connection for using and browsing the Internet, checking e-mails, and using social media applications for shoppers and visitors free of charge, at high speeds, in addition to the user's ability to benefit from the electronic services available online during his shopping, thereby offering him/her a unique and smart shopping experience.
In addition, he indicated that the free internet service is characterized by the ease of registering for the first time, as the shopper or user can self-register through the mobile phone within a few seconds to enjoy the high-speed internet service, which allows the use of a secure network without any restrictions within the framework available from service providers.
