February 10, 2022 - Dubai, UAE: Harklinikken, the iconic Danish haircare clinic in Dubai committed to self-love and empowerment, is excited to unveil their newly renovated and refurbished clinic in the heart of Jumeriah on the Jumeirah Beach Road. With this exciting transformation, Harklinikken brings signature Scandinavian design to the forefront of the clinic, staying true to the brand’s Danish roots.
Stunning Washingtonia palms and young Ficus trees line the exterior entrance, as a cobblestoned pathway leads visitors to a chic and sleek panelled floor to ceiling glass door that opens into a beautifully serene space, with concrete effect resin floors and walls where a feeling of fluidity and organic tranquillity abounds.
A statement olive tree, signifying peace and continued commitment to the environment, stands at the centre of the lobby complimented by a magnificently designed Louis Poulsen chandelier, creating a striking yet perfectly balanced contrast of design and nature.
Split over two floors, the ground floor reception area boasts refined finishes and a chic Tundra marble floating reception bar, with sweeping windows that effortlessly marry earthy tones with contemporary design. Tundra marble, seen throughout the clinic, lends subtle grey ascents that create a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. Stylish Scandi seating from HK LIving adds a raw and edgy feel to the reception yet remaining elegant and luxurious.
The Harklinikken laboratory, the epicentre of the clinic, where all Harklinikken custom-made extracts are mixed for each client, lies adjacent to the reception with a sleek black panelled glass door, allowing customers a special glimpse of the complex, made-to-order process that goes into creating each one of their carefully customized extracts. Handmade wooden shelves are lined with an array of plant-based extract ingredients, in specially commissioned hand-blown glass Apothecary bottles, unique only to Harklinikken, being both stylish and functional.
The ground floor contains two ultra-stylish yet comfortable consultation rooms, with sleek concrete effect resin floors and walls, adorned with minimalistic French panelling that lends a subtle elegance to an otherwise modern and minimalistic space. Free standing hand-made floor to ceiling solid wood mirrors from Copenhagen, create a feeling of additional light and space, two recurrent themes throughout the clinic.
Each consultation room is stunningly finished with furniture from Arne Jacobsen and Hans Wegner, highlighting the very essence of Danish design. Exuding simplicity, harmony, and functionality without compromising on beauty, the Harklinikken new look is both effortless and welcoming.
A sweeping circular staircase, in concrete resin and wood, standing on a smooth Tundra marble base, takes customers seamlessly into the first floor waiting area, where sleek modern hexagonal bay windows give way to a flooding of natural light, offering a sense of fluidity and openness, guaranteed to make any customer feel at ease while they wait to be seen by one of the several experienced haircare specialists. A plethora of Danish design pieces once again creates an environment of relaxed comfort complimented by organic earthy tones. Three additional consultation rooms, and the continuing design theme of concrete resin covered floor and walls, create a pure and balanced design aesthetic.
A truly luxurious space inspired by timeless design excellence, the newly renovated Harklinikken haircare centre brings the best of Scandinavian design to Dubai and is guaranteed to heighten and elevate customer experience.
