Ajman University’s Year of the Fiftieth Commencement Ceremony concluded on a high note with 480 graduates across 8 colleges receiving their diplomas in a high octave drive-through event. A key highlight of the event proved to be the laser show that celebrated the UAE’s glorious history in this fiftieth year of its formation.
Ajman University also unveiled its mascot at the event, an eagle called Wings with the slogan ‘Make your Dreams Fly’. And dreams are flying indeed at Ajman University’s various colleges, where brilliant graduates have proven their academic mettle, innovative spirit and extracurricular abilities.
“I am excited to receive my diploma today at this glittering drive-through ceremony. For me it’s the conclusion of years of hard-work and perseverance. It’s also special since I am graduating in the Year of the Fiftieth, a momentous event in the history of the UAE. This makes it doubly special and memorable for me as well,” said Mohammad Mahmood Ghulam Ali Albastaki, graduate from the College of Humanities and Sciences .
“Ajman University is committed to nurturing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also innovative, sporting and socially responsible citizens of the society. I am delighted to honor the Class of 2022 and I am confident that they will distinguish themselves in various fields of economic and social activity,” said Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University.

I will always cherish the good times I had at Ajman university, especially the knowledge I gained, the friends I made, and the goals I achieved,” he added.
“I would not have wished for a more rewarding academic journey! The professors, thanks to a conducive system, have mastered the art of bringing out the true potentials in us and our projects have undoubtedly brought this fact to bear.” Said Fawzieh Mahmoud Taher Berawi, professional postgraduate with a diploma in Teaching.
“I am very proud of my journey at Ajman University, I made it happen despite all the challenges. AU provided me with a very supportive learning environment, especially that I am a working mother.
