Beware of Fake RT PCR Test Results through Third Party Agencies

• Fake negative RT PCR test reports are getting detected at the UAE airports
• Ongoing scam by third party agencies and travel agents to provide fake negative report to travelers to be able to board flights
• Aster DM Healthcare has issued a public advisory encouraging people to avail RT PCR testing service directly from authentic healthcare service providers rather than through agents
Dubai – January 19, Dubai, UAE: To curtail the rising instances of fake RT PCR test results issued by third party agencies, primarily for travel purposes, on behalf of leading service providers in UAE, Aster DM Healthcare has issued a public advisory asking people to avail RT PCR test services directly from healthcare providers to receive authentic results. The advisory has been issued in public interest, after travelers were detected at the airport carrying fake test reports issued by third party agents on behalf of healthcare companies including Aster.
In some cases, reports are seen to be digitally edited to reflect a negative result while in others fake reports were given to ensure that he/she gets a negative test result which is a mandatory requirement for travel and other purposes.
Immediately on noticing the above said incidents, Aster DM Healthcare has registered a complaint with Dubai Police and matter is being investigated by the Police.
