SPC Free Zone's competitive investor support solutions attracts regional and global publishers at SIBF 2021

Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone’s business set-up packages highlight investment opportunities in the emirate at 40th Sharjah International Book Fair
Sharjah, November 11, 2021: The array of attractive business set-up packages and incentives offered by Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone (SPC Free Zone) to regional and global publishers at the ongoing 40th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2021) has generated a great response amongst stakeholders in the creative industry who have expressed their keenness on availing the comprehensive range of services and benefits.
The SPC Free Zone’s pavilion at SIBF 2021, which offers a choice of competitive business solutions, has been attracting the attention of both publishers and entrepreneurs in the industry who either wish to set up or expand their businesses in the region and beyond.
In line with its strategy to forge key partnerships to support the industry and highlight the existing and emerging opportunities in Sharjah, the SPC Free Zone is offering two business packages at SIBF 2021, which runs under the theme, ‘There’s always a right book’, at Expo Centre Sharjah until November 13.
The first business package comprises of a one-year stamped business license that allows up to two business activities and a Memorandum of Association (MoA) document. The second package is a one-year stamped trade license with up to two business activities and one valid visa. The comprehensive third package features up to two business activities with a business license for one year and a visa with a three-year-validity, Emirates ID, medical fitness tests, e-channel portal access, and an establishment card.
SPC Free Zone team met with several publishers at the free zone’s pavilion to highlight the convenient and innovative investor support solutions offered by the entity to facilitate the growth and expansion of the creative industry stakeholders across various economic sectors.
Salim Omar Salim, Director of the SPC Free Zone, emphasised that the entity’s participation at SIBF 2021 reaffirms its commitment to continually support the development of regional and global publishing industry and promote the business-friendly environment of the free zone, adding that the investor-support business packages can be availed until SIBF 2021 concludes on November 13.
He pointed out that the SPC Free Zone is home to more than 1,500 licensed start-ups and is attracting a larger number of companies thanks to the convenient and flexible services and facilities offered to investors and publishers.
The SPC Free Zone was established in 2017 as the world’s very first publishing and printing free zone offering the book industry the opportunity to capitalise on an array of benefits emerging from operating within a free zone environment.
