CANON GOES LIVE! IT'S FRONTIERS OF INNOVATION WITH EXPO 2020 Join us for the 1st joint edition to celebrate International Print Day!

Dubai, UAE, 20th September 2021: In continuance with recent Canon announcement on the launch of special LinkedIn live series of “Canon’s Frontiers of Innovation @Expo 2020” that will feature experts from the Middle East and Africa discussing a wide range of topical issues from a regional perspective. Canon together with Expo 2020 Dubai, will host the first special online live series to celebrate the print industry in the region. Join us to participate in the conversation on dynamic print industry as we are leading up to International Print Day 2021(October 21, 2021).

Since its launch five years ago, the lives series has become well known for bringing together the best speakers in the industry for insightful discussions – and the same can be expected of the upcoming September edition.

Taking place on September 27th , 2021, live on the Canon EMEA LinkedIn page. The event will feature an exciting panel of industry experts, including Dina Storey - Director of Sustainability Operations, Expo 2020 Dubai, Dennis Micheni – Chief Executive Officer, Discover Brands3D Printing, Temitope Ekundayo, CEO, Printivo Limited, Nigeria and Zahir Hassan Managing Director, Power Print Dubai.

The speakers will provide a candid insight into the industry’s biggest challenges, from how the pandemic has affected the commercial and corporate print sectors, to predictions about how things will continue to unfold over time.

Other topics that will be explored during the hour include industry insights for the next 12 months – including technology and behavioral trends. And as no discussion about the print industry would be complete without looking at the role of automation in the print sector, the speakers will share their thoughts on the pros and cons of automation, and the roles they believe will never be automated.
