Dubai, UAE, 22 March 2021: Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) issued its first Directory of Services 2020 - 2021 that includes information about the Authority as well as the services it provides and the steps for customers to obtain them. This came as part of the Dubai Culture’s efforts to meet customer needs and ensure their happiness.
Khawla Al Yassi, Director of the Customer Service Department at Dubai Culture, said: “The directory comes as part of Dubai Culture’s keenness to ensure public awareness of the Authority’s services as provided by its specialised service-delivery centres. Dubai Culture strives to provide optimal services via a unified information reference that would address customers’ questions and expectations about obtaining those services. The Authority is also seeking to make the directory accessible to everyone in the easiest way possible, contributing to enhancing customer happiness, which is one of the corporate priorities of our strategic roadmap through which we seek to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global centre for culture, an incubator for creativity, and a thriving hub for talent.”
Al Yassi added: “The aim of the Directory of Services 2020 - 2021, which is available in Arabic, English, Urdu, and soon in Chinese on the Authority’s website www.dubaiculture.gov.ae, is to simplify procedures for customers comprising artists, writers, intellectuals and interested society members of all ages, whether residents, visitors, GCC citizens, public and private institutions, or entrepreneurs, as well as to provide them with the required services as quickly as possible and with the least possible effort. The directory highlights the needed steps to be taken to obtain the desired services in a seamless manner as well as the necessary requirements for each stage — service provision, procedures, application steps, fees, service delivery centres, working hours, and phone numbers of service delivery centres.”
The directory opens with a message to customers from Director-General Hala Badri , an overview of the directory, the Authority’s strategic map, the Customer Happiness Charter, customer categories, the services and the customer journey, and services and communication channels.
The Directory of Services is one of the initiatives developed by Dubai Culture based on the results of the 2019 Government of Dubai Customer Happiness Index, through which the Authority affirms its commitment to enhancing the effectiveness of its services and achieving customer satisfaction, raising performance level, and improving the quality of the services provided. The directory constitutes an integrated reference that defines and documents service procedures to ensure the continuous improvement of the Authority’s services.
