Global Village Joins the Nationwide Celebrations by Raising the Emirati Flag on UAE Flag Day 2020

Dubai, UAE, 3 November 2020:  Global Village, the UAE and wider region's leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, joined the national celebrations to mark UAE Flag Day 2020, by proudly raising the Emirati flag high above the park. The senior leadership team at Global Village accompanied by a number of employees raised the flag together at 11AM this morning.

The park has always promoted the UAE's core principles and supported the country's continuous development. As an incubator for new ideas and a platform for personal and professional development, Global Village empowers local talent, presents pathways to business success, and contributes to the UAE's Emiratisation plan, in line with the aims of the visionary leadership. 

In addition to this morning's ceremony, Global Village's Gate of the World, Cultural Gate, and other attractions such as Carnaval and the underwater screen of the fountain show, will also be donned in the flag's colours of red, green, black, and white as part of the tribute.
