Collaboration seen to help promote attractiveness and competitiveness of emirate's business environment

October 1, 2020--In line with the continuing efforts to boost the attractiveness of Ajman's business environment to investors, entrepreneurs and other companies, the Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has announced the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Ajman Transport Authority (ATA), which is aimed at enhancing service integration and placing stronger focus on customer happiness and satisfaction. The newly signed agreement marks the beginning of a strategic long-term partnership that supports both parties' shared vision to develop the transport sector, which will help pave the way for cooperation to promote investor services; increase business community satisfaction with the services provided and  maximize capabilities to create appropriate solutions for the development of the transport sector.

Eng. Ali Abdulla Bin Towaih Al Suwaidi, Director General, Ajman Free Zone, stressed the importance of the newly signed partnership, which provides a framework to integrate and consolidate the efforts to foster the growth of economic sectors and increase the competitiveness of Ajman's business environment. He expressed AFZ's commitment to promote constructive collaboration with concerned entities and stakeholders to help enhance the attractiveness of the local business environment.

Al Suwaidi stated, “This memorandum falls in line with the move to forge strategic partnerships with public and private sectors to help realize Ajman Vision 2021.
