Huawei has always drawn its inspirations from nature when it comes to creating colors which also echo the design aesthetics of the P series. With the HUAWEI P40 Pro, the main source of inspiration is water and its different forms. By carefully adjusting the colors and hues, Huawei has managed to add an illusion of depth with dancing lights and shadows for a more premium finish. While the gloss Black finish is epitome of class and elegance, the matte finish Silver Frost represents a frozen city in the early morning. Built with layers of matte glass and nano-texture film, this new texture is modern, metallic while also giving it a whole new look that resonates with every urban dweller.

The beautiful HUAWEI Quad-curve Overflow Display

Along with its colors, the biggest complement to a smartphone’s design is its display and the HUAWEI P40 Pro steps this up with the borderless and immersive HUAWEI Quad-Curve Overflow Display. Following a simplistic design ethos, the design of this display is inspired by water as well. With a curve across all four edges, the display is reminiscent of a glass filled with water at the verge of spilling, but held back by surface tension pulling it back. Not only does this add to the elegant look of the smartphone, but it also provides a more immersive and borderless finish, with a more comfortable hold. The four rounded corners also and curved edges blend in seamlessly with the HUAWEI Quad-Curve Overflow Display adding to its ergonomic feel and display efficiency. The display is complemented by a futuristic cutting edge screen installation technology that allows for the bezels to be extremely thin, further adding to the viewing experience. 

A powerful camera system that looks too good

In order to improve the design setup of the Ultra-Vision Leica Quad camera module at the back, Huawei worked on perfecting the combination of the different lenses for both aesthetic and performance features. Placed on the top left corner at the back of the phone, the all-in-one camera module follows the HUAWEI P series’ design with the horizontal logo and camera alignment. Inside the camera system, the space between the lenses are divided by shades and lights to highlight the major lenses to give it a finish like the iris surrounding the pupil in the eye. Be it the size, shape or design, the camera module is perfectly balanced to the whole phone.
