Supercar Owners Descend on Yas Marina Circuit for Unrivalled Pirelli P Zero Experience

• More than 200 Supercar enthusiasts given opportunity to test their driving skills on F1 track and get a feel for latest world-class tyre technology from Italian manufacturer
• Premium tyre sector leader partners with Mont Blanc, Lamborghini, BAC Mono, Pagani, Roger Dubois, and McLaren to provide unique experience

 Abu Dhabi, 09 March 2020:  Pirelli, the global premium tyre sector leader and symbol of Italian excellence took over Yas Marina Circuit, the home of the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, to give 200 petrolheads from across the region a unique opportunity to test their driving skills on Abu Dhabi’s famed F1 track and get to grips with the latest in tyre technology from the Italian manufacturer. Pirelli’s popular P ZERO Experience brought together members of the Porsche Club, Supercars Majlis, and many private supercar owners, giving them exclusive access to the famed circuit for over 15 hours during the third edition of the popular event. 

With cars sporting the latest P ZERO tyres, attendees were given rare, special access to the circuit to test their driving skills and experience the superior performance of cutting-edge tyres from Pirelli, a manufacturer with a rich history of more than 140 years of industry-leading technology.

Participants at the PZERO Experience were treated to a full-spec racing day experience with driving simulators provided by Pole Positions Event Management, a specially-constructed track warm-up room which had two trainers who explained and took participants through track-specific physical warm-up routines, and a hugely popular pit-stop challenge with the winners receiving a special gift from Lamborghini. The event also had the full team of the Yas Marina Circuit’s instructors who briefed participants, provided coaching clinics, and sensitized drivers about on-track safety measures and protocols. In addition to this, Pirelli’s own ZAFCO vans carried out comprehensive checks on every supercar before it took to the track.
