Government of Ras Al Khaimah Awards Banks Legal With the 2019 Julphar Finance Award for Excellence

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - March 05, 2020: Banks Legal, a leading legal and corporate services firm founded in the UAE, is awarded with the 2019 Julphar Finance Award for Excellence as a supplier of legal services to the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. The third season of the event was graced by the presence of His Excellency Youssef Ali Mohamed, Director General of the Finance Department, Directors of Government and Private Agencies, Employees of the Finance Department and Employees of Government Agencies. Awards were held at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, it was moderated by Muhammad Ghanem Mustafa - Director of Ras Al Khaimah Radio Authority, and was aired live on RAK Radio.
Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, the Department of Finance launched the first internal award entitled as “Julphar Financial Award for Excellence”, hoping to contribute to a qualitative shift in financial performance at the government sector level. They aim to encourage all government institutions to adopt best practices in the field of institutional development in order to contribute effectively to the spread of a culture of excellence, quality and transparency. The institution further applies real practices on the ground in an optimal way that makes an essential component in the government work environment within each party.
The announcement of the award was made in April 2019, followed by a workshop. Before the honouring ceremony, all the entries were evaluated by external auditors. Banks Legal, as a leading provider of legal services for the Government of Ras Al Khaimah was acknowledged for their contribution to the improvement of the performance of the Finance Department as it aims to keep pace with good practices, across the region. Banks Legal has been working with the Department of Finance of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah and looks forward to continuing to support the Government of Ras Al Khaimah with its future development.
