Abu Dhabi, November 28, 2019 - The Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA) has revealed that its 'TAMM' platform has been named as one of the ten winning entries at this year's edition of the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award. The award, which is the first of its kind in the region, is being held under the guidance and patronage of Kuwaiti Emir His Highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Now on its 19th year, the award serves as a development platform aimed at promoting informatics and acceptance of a digital culture. 'TAMM' was recognized for its key efforts in delivering a digital government that is proactive, personalized and secure.
HE Dr. Rauda Al Saadi, Director General, ADDA, received the award during a recognition ceremony in Kuwait’s capital city, in the presence of Kuwaiti Emir His Highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and other awardees from neighboring Arab nations.
HE Dr. Rauda Al Saadi, Director General, ADDA, said, “We are very pleased with this achievement, which demonstrates our continuing efforts to be at pace with today's digital technologies while also further consolidating Abu Dhabi's leading position in the move towards digital transformation. I would like to thank our working teams from ADDA and 'TAMM' for their continued dedication and commitment to play an important leading role across the emirate's digital transformation agenda.”
Dr. Al-Saadi added, “The ‘TAMM’ initiative was selected by this year’s distinct panel of jurors, composed of top experts and academics. This first-of-its-kind initiative in the region, particularly in terms of innovation, employment of modern technology, not only added value but also made a positive impact on the lives of the people of the emirate.”
She further expressed her thanks and appreciation to ADDA’s partners from the government and private sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, who have cooperated and contributed to the success of this joint government project, which translates the vision of our wise leadership to the delight of customers and society at all levels.”
Introduced by ADDA in 2018, the Abu Dhabi Government Services Program 'TAMM' offers a diverse portfolio of solutions through the integration of around 1,600 government services into end-to-end journeys under a single platform--including a website, smart application, service centres and Abu Dhabi Government Call Centre (800555). The initiative looks towards enabling the goals of the Abu Dhabi Government Accelerators Programme ‘Ghadan 21’ launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
