HBMSU renews loyalty and commitment to country during UAE Flag Day celebration

UAE, 03 November 2019 – Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) today raised the national flag in celebration of the UAE Flag Day, which also marked the anniversary of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession to the Presidency of the UAE and lead the country’s march towards growth and development, which was founded by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
With pride, the academic members and administrative officials renewed their allegiance to the country globally renowned for its unique development model that focuses on tolerance, justice, respect, and human brotherhood.
Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of the University, led the flag-raising ceremony where he reaffirmed HBMSU’s full commitment to the UAE, led by its wise leadership and its people. He said the university would continue to build a smart educational system that looks towards discovering and nurturing individual talents, while also promoting the principle of ‘lifelong learning’ and produce future leaders with strong capabilities to lead the nation towards unprecedented growth and development.
Dr. Al Awar added: “On this special occasion, we reiterate our loyalty to the country under the wise leadership of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. We are determined to establish an education system that is aligned with the 21st century requirements. Through world-class education, we will help ensure that our flag flies high on the global stage according to the vision of our founding father, who believed that ‘The highest achievement of a nation can be measured by the level and extent of its education’
