ADDED, DPM and ADAFZ to lead over 50 high-profile exhibitors
Abu Dhabi, 22 October 2019: Leading public and private sector institutions and major organizations will lead more than 50 exhibitors taking part at the 11th edition of the International Real Estate & Investment Show (IREIS), which will be held from October 30, 2019 to November 1, 2019 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities (DPM), the Abu Dhabi Airport Free Zone (ADAFZ) are spearheading the high-profile participants of this year’s edition of the show, which is expected to attract visitors from all over the world. Each entity will showcase its latest services, projects, and initiatives that support the innovation and investment industries in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
Their participation reflects the vital role of IREIS, which is being organized by Dome Exhibitions, in highlighting the immense and promising prospects in the local real estate sector, fueled by the steady economic growth of Abu Dhabi and the entire country.
Antoine Georges, Managing Director, Dome Exhibitions, said: “As a specialized investment real estate event in Abu Dhabi that targets investors and consumers rather than trade visitors, IREIS is one of the major platforms in the market to provide the best options for investment and offer the latest market insights and trends. The presence of the leading government entities in the event shows its wide reach and proven capability to connect them with the right people from all over the world under one roof. This engagement is pivotal in pushing for their respective agenda and accomplishing their goals and objectives.”
The three-day IREIS will offer a snapshot of the international property market as a whole. It is packed with different events catering to various aspects of the local property market and other elements that make Abu Dhabi one of the preferred destinations for investors. These events include the first-of-its-kind ‘World Free Zone Expo (WFZE) Pavilion,’ which will gather free zones to connect them with onshore and offshore companies and business startups; the ‘Startup Pavilion,’ Abu Dhabi’s new initiative for startups.
Another major highlight will be the ‘Abu Dhabi Investment Conference 2019,’ a specialized investment conference featuring a line-up of top-notch global experts, renowned academics, seasoned practitioners and representatives of government bodies. The conference will comprise keynote speeches, sessions and workshops from high profile speakers coming from the ADDED, the DPM and several leading real estate stakeholders in the region, such as the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Gulf Properties. It will also include sessions on why to invest in the UAE, freehold property regulations and foreign direct investments (FDI).
In this context, Phil Sheridan, CEO, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Gulf Properties, said, “The UAE property market continues to grow at a rapid pace and has become a highly preferred investment destination, which can be attributed to the key incentives and value additions offered to investors. In this regard, our iconic brand has witnessed immediate success in being able to guide and advise our clients on the many opportunities that the country offers. The strong response that we have received has prompted us to opening an office in Abu Dhabi for present and future clients.”
The ‘Innovation Hub Awards 2019’ to be held under the theme ‘Creating Innovative Sustainable Environment in Investments’ will also take place to highlight innovative ideas across four categories of the environment, sustainable future, automation, and investments. The 5th edition of the ‘International Residency and Citizenship Expo’ is another main highlight of the event and will feature numerous global citizenship and residency options that are currently available through investment.
