Special edition 2019 Ford Expedition ‘Turath' arrives in Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors showrooms

 

  

Dubai, United Arab Emirates -  14 July  2019:   Al Tayer Motors, the official UAE importer-dealer for Ford vehicles, has launched a special edition version of the full-size 2019 Ford Expedition sports utility vehicle (SUV) named ‘Turath’.

 

“Turath, the Arabic word for heritage, is a tribute to the UAE, which is a symbol of peace, modernity and tradition in the Arab world. Inspired by the ‘Year of Tolerance’, the Ford Expedition Turath has been customised and designed in-house to reflect the heritage of the great young, modern and tolerant nation that the UAE is today,” said Helal Hanei Omar, Senior Vice-President – Ford, Al Tayer Motors.

 

On the exterior, the Turath features a horizontal strip in red and black - the UAE flag colours - running across the sides of the vehicle on its belt line, punctuated towards the rear with the name Expedition and the UAE flag. A badge, with the outline of the country’s map in the colours of the UAE flag, and the name ‘Turath’ add a nice finishing touch on the tailgate, while the emblem featuring the iconic image of the UAE’s founding fathers with the UAE flag adorns the C-Pillar. 

 

The vehicle is fitted with black gloss painted alloy wheels, exterior mirrors, as well as front and rear bumpers. The interior features the emblem of the UAE’s founding fathers with the UAE flag embroidered on the headrests of the comfortable front seats and the passenger side of the dashboard.

 

The Ford Expedition Turath, priced at AED 286,181/- (inclusive of VAT), is now available at all showrooms of Al Tayer Motors, the UAE’s official importer-dealer for Ford vehicles, and at Premier Motors, the official dealer in Abu Dhabi.
