W Motors Headlines at Goodwood Festival of Speed With Limited Edition Fenyr Supersport

Dubai, United Arab Emirates -  08 July  2019:    W Motors, the Middle East’s only manufacturer of high-performance luxury sports cars, marked its return to the world-renowned annual Goodwood Festival of Speed with an unforgettable display of power and innovation.

W Motor’s limited edition Fenyr SuperSport took centre stage at this year’s festival, which concluded yesterday (7 July 2019), showcasing its unparalleled performance capabilities with two hill climbs on each day of the sellout event that captivated spectators with its incredible on-track performance, unwavering agility and extraordinary design.

“The Goodwood Hillclimb is one of the festival’s iconic experiences, for automotive designers, drivers and motorsport enthusiasts. This year, we had the privilege of seeing our limited edition Fenyr SuperSport take pole position, leading a pack of other supercar contenders on the 1.16-mile course, and flexing its high-performance muscles,” said Ralph R Debbas, Founder & CEO, W Motors. 

Presented in Arctic white with gold accents, the Fenyr SuperSport is W Motors’ newest hypercar. Defined by detail, the limited-edition global run of 110 cars includes just 10 launch editions. 

With its muscular and futuristic exterior crafted in carbon fibre, the Fenyr SuperSport features advanced technology throughout from reverse-opening doors to an innovative active aerodynamics system. 

Its cutting edge, custom-made RUF engine was specially developed by a team of master mechanics with a twin-turbo flat 6, mid-rear 3.8L engine capable of delivering 800HP and 980 Nm torque, making it possible to reach 0-100 km/h in an exhilarating 2.8 seconds with a maximum top speed of 400 km/h. 

“The Fenyr SuperSport was also a headline attraction at the Michelin Supercar Paddock, which plays host to only the most advanced supercars in the world. This year, automotive fans had an opportunity to view the car first-hand, and we were definitely a major talking point among the luxury supercar community,” said Debbas.

This is the second consecutive year that W Motors participated in the Goodwood Festival of Speed, one of the most acclaimed celebrations of motoring culture in the world. Continuing its summer tour, the Fenyr SuperSport will shortly head to the US to take part in a series of high-profile events, including the renowned Monterey Car Week in California.
